Visual Dawn: Motion Graphics

To be quite honest, I composed this project because I was curious to see how much more I can do with Adobe After Effects’  “Glow, Grid, shatter, Particle World, and Fractal Noise” effects. I wanted the color scheme of the composition to be red, burgundy, and a light tint of violet.  The colors are bold and vibrant, that’s why they captured my attention.  It’s named Visual Dawn Motion Graphics because  I wanted this piece to illustrate the importance displaying efficient visual communication toward my audience. I wanted to show my passion in my field and joy to bring even the simplest form of a person’s imagination and ideas into a broadened perspective through motion graphics.

One of the coolest things that I have doe to this project is creating the reflection of the text. And how I did is is by Pre-Composing the the texts and the background into separate compositions and duplicate them. Then, I dragged them into the original project’s comp, turned on the “3D”  selection box in the layers tab on the duplicates that will allow me to turn them on their Z axis. Lastly, rotated the compositions and added a gaussian blur to them.

Nutrition Network Scheduled Preview

Fitness is more that just a simple routine, it's one of the foundations of life.

Another passion of mine that I adore and cherish is being involved in sports, nutrition, and fitness.  Ever since I was a toddler I have always been active in many sports, such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, track, and football. Found peace in mind when I am weightlifting, training my body to overcome challenges that hinder my potential as an individual person. As a source of my inspiration I created this 30 second network schedule preview presentation motion graphic. Aside from being a motion graphic artist, I want to be a part of the world of fitness as a trainer well. I believe that this project shows my enthusiasm towards the matter.

Lazy Days In Paradise

I decided to try designing a digital background after seeing speed art videos on Youtube. Kind of had a difficult time deciding on what I wanted to design, besides I was feeling really lazy didn’t want to do anything. Then I thought about how funny it was that every day, every month, people in society work vigorously to pay for that two-week dream summer vacation. Wishing for a nice vacation on one of the beaches in Puerto Rico, not have a care in the world about stressing over work and school. Where I can view the sunset and embrace nature at its peak of beauty, while listening to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole.

Then the idea just appeared to me! I wanted to design my perspective of what a wondrous paradise would look like to me. It is amazing how a concept of art can be created from a basic way of thinking about your life and ideals. So, I made a little break down of the composition.

Doomsday Supplies Ad

Here is a little side project that I did at the Art Institute of Las Vegas’ Green Screen Room. The idea for creating the advertisement toward doomsday supplies came from a conversation that a group of my friends had when we were discussing the latest episode of AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” Seemed to be a cool concept to make from everyone’s ideas on what supplies should be sold based of package deals offered.

Are you well equipped to survive the destruction and horrors that doomsday will throw at you?

Battlefield 4: Rising Dawn

As an individual person, of course i have other passions and hobbies that i am active with, and one of the things i do on my spare time is play video games on console and PC. One of my favorite first person shooter games on console is Battlefield 4. Besides blowing up things and defending my bases, I enjoy viewing the introductions and stationary graphics in this game. Great composition with monochromatic colors and the streaks of bright gradient lights. So I had an idea to make my own little motion graphic.

Found three PNG stock photos online that caught my eye for my design, close-up shot of a military soldier, muzzle flash, and a background image of a jet flying in the sky. I brought the images into Adobe Photoshop to use the "Hue/Saturation" effect to change the colored images into neutral colors (gray, black, white). Drawn the vector shapes of the target rings and numbers on a separate layer, as will as the round patch on the helmet over the muzzle flash image. Made the light streaks in the background with simple brush strokes, then blurred and feather them.

Dragged the PSD file (Photoshop Document) into Adobe After Effects. Set the aspect ratio to  1920x1080 for the composition. Place each layer in their proper positions. Added a "Glow" (have colors stand out) and "Fractal Noise" (gives a bit of realism to the abstract shapes by distorting them) effects to the muzzle flash, eye patch, and target shaped vectors. Used the "Grid" texture effect on the title's text  and the "Glow" effect. From that point on I just key framed, added video effects of fade-ins and outs, dazzling lens flares and positioning.
